La Flambee 81 rue du general Leclerc, 14800 Deauville located just off the beach front is a good restaurant for an evening meal in Deauville. I had a business dinner here in January and it was very good. We sat in the conservatory at the rear of the restaurant and despite that the weather was cold and wet the restaurant was warm and welcoming. Our coats were taken at the door by welcoming staff and we were shown to our table. It is manly a fish speciality restaurant but the menu also has a good selection of meat dishes. The food is very well presented and of excellent quality. Well worth a visit for a relaxing quality meal in comfortable environment,

A real bargain for lunch ! Pick from a number of choices (changing daily) on the Fixed Price lunch menu and enjoy nicely presented quality food in a semi-formal setting. Adult 2-course menu for 17 Euro includes a glass of wine and coffee ! Children’s menu (including ice cream dessert) for just 14 Euro. Go for the covered veranda in the back of the restaurant – or request to be seated on the backdoor patio weather permitting. Rightfully featured in the Michelin Guide 2012 - I will definitely go back.

Not cheap, but the food was very good and the meat cooked over the fire is the thing to have. Courteous and discrete service. Like most French restaurants they don't know what a "martini" actually is! Aperitif, 3 courses, decent bottle of wine, coffee & calvados made for a fairly large bill.

La Flambée has been recently been refurbished and the main problem of the old restaurant which was serving your meal in two hours minimum is now fixed by a new team. The Best meat in the area, excellent cook, good food presentation, try the roasted duck and the sirloin grilled in the fireplace, you will come back

We chose this restaurant for our special night out & we were not disappointed. It was a beautiful evening so we requested exterior dining. We were taken through the restaurant to a lovely terrace, an oasis of calm & tranquility. The food was delicious & cooked on an indoor bbq type grill. The steak was superb, as was the duck. The service was excellent. We will go back next year.
