This restaurant is always busy in August but in reallity its food and ambiance is just ok. Prices are on the high side for just average food and the wine list is limited with little choice for under €50 per bottle. It enjoyed a reputation as one of the best in Deauville but it appears that it has either drifted down or the competition have raised their games - either way, there are many better dining experiences within a five minute walk.

We ate outside. Although the table was a bit small for four, it was a very nice day and it didn't represent a big issue after all. We went there for lunch in Mid-August without a reservation and didn't have problem to find a table.

Oysters were very good. We also shared some foie gras which was also excellent. I tried the entrecote and was perfect. But, in general, all of us were very pleased with the meal and the service.

This place really has it all whether its lunch or dinner, you can be assured of fine food and professional service. The management know their clientele well serving a regional menu that appeals to both the locals and tourists that flock to this part of France for both the food and the Horse Racing.
The look and ambience is typical upper class Brasserie with comfortable chairs and crisp White tablecloths and glistening glassware. The service is prompt and professional and the menu is perfectly balanced between meat and fish and the fish is what most people seemed to be ordering and so did we.
The starters consisted of fresh Crab which was exquisite and served with all of the tools to ensure that picking the sumptuous white meat was as easy as possible. The Oysters were sublime and tasted of the sea and the Prawns were just the tastiest ever.
Mains consisted mainly of meat and the Entecote proved to be superb with only the frites letting down the dish, they were those triple cooked ones and tasted just a little too floury. Vegatbles were great and cooked to perfection.
The desserts menu was compact and we decided to go for a selection of Sorbets which were quite simply amazing, particularly the Lemon and the Cassis. Coffee and liqueurs finished off a perfect dinner and the bill came to a not astonishing £225.00, not bad for a great nights dining.
Go there but be sure to book as it gets full of beautiful people.
