“Cherbourg on a Sunday”
Reviewed July 2, 2012

1st July, maybe not quite the holiday season but was amazed to find Cherbourg shuts on Sundays.. bit like a ghost town with shops shut - that's ok but most of the bars & restuarants too?! Having hiked up the mountain to the Liberation Museum bit disappointed to find that although it was due to open at 2pm, it didn't because the single person inside wasn't allowed to open unless her colleague turned up.. gave up at 2.20 and trudged back down the hill.
