Fantastic menu of traditional and unique pizzas. Lovely friendly service. Relaxed, unhurried atmosphere. Delicious food and good value. In a beautiful, historic part of town, so perfect for people watching with a bottle of wine. :)

Very accommodating staff and lovely food in an attractive area of Caen where most of the restaurants serve expensive and rather pretentious food.
Our group was made very welcome by the young staff. The food was freshly cooked and tasty.

Pizzeria Abracadabra is, pound for pound, probably the cheapest and best restaurant on this beautiful street, in the centre of the old district in Caen. We didn't find a better place to eat in a week. The food is delicious and plenty of it, served good and hot by the staff who cared.

If you're looking for fine dining then this isn't for you, but I would come back here time and again.

Rue du Vaugueux is also an historically interesting street that mostly escaped the intensive bombing of the area by the British in June 1944. There is a fantastic image (on the internet), taken at the corner of this street, of two tanks and 6-pdr anti-tank gun on 10 July 1944 with the distruction all around them, including the smashed spire of the Church of Saint-Pierre in the background.

Great thin pizza, choices/topping, calzones and more. Great mix of music too. My third visit with the same impression.
