Excellent Location and very clean hotel realistically priced, good location for the Tapestry and the War Museum, the location presents a moving experience for anyone with the history of the Normandy Landings at the forefront of the visit

Room Tip: Excellent location and realistically priced

We arrived at the hotel very tired and received a very warm welcome. Rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was the best we had on our trip as they provided American type food and plenty of it. The hotel has a computer and wifi. The location is great for going to the beaches and also very close to the main street in town. Very charming town!

Room Tip: We asked for twin beds to give us a little more room. Very pleased with the beds.

Good location, appears quite old and basic but quite a good stay. In a quiet but convenient location. Very good breakfast and very good service. Rooms appear basic but quite OK. The check in staff could not have been more helpful.

This hotel is only rated 3* and I think it deserves a lot more.
It's situated right in the lovely city of Bayuex with a 2 minute walk to the Main Street with all the shops, bars and restraunts on.
The hotel has free wifi and is very easy to connect to and you can connect to it in every room
The rooms are very nice and very comfortable. They were clean and cleaned every day.
The breakfast is lovely with a wide selection of cereals, bread, fruits, cooked food and hot and cold drinks.
The staff were very friendly and spoke good English.
We visited a few restraunts nearby which were very nice but one ill mention to stay clear of was a little Chinese restraunt nearby. It's left then left again out the hotel. There was only one woman working the whole restraunt and we were basically served super noodles (not exaggerating) and was ridiculously priced. I'm a big Chinese fan so I know a good Chinese when I see one!
Also visit the Catherdral, it's around the corner from the hotel and it's beautiful inside.

Hope this helped
Enjoy your stay at the fabulous Hotel Le Bayeux :)

Although the rooms aren't fancy, our room was very clean, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was fresh, tasty, and abundant (and in a lovely room), and the location was perfect for visiting the World War II beaches (and not TOO far for a trip to Mont Saint Michel on another day). We loved the town of Bayeux -- very charming and walkable, with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. And we loved the evening light show at the adjacent cathedral (offered certain nights during the summer). If you don't mind a less-than-luxurious room, this is an excellent choice.
