We got a large, beautifully furnished room with a fully-tiled bathroom with tub and shower. The owners took good care of us. The rate was reasonable and the location was within three blocks of the cathedral, on the edge of a pretty park. The continental breakfast was very good, and, during breakfast, one of the owners gave us travel and resaurant tips for each of the two days we stayed there. One of the nicest hotels we stayed in during our two weeks in France.
This B&B - hosted by Pascal - is absolutely superb in every way. It is so spacious, quiet, and clean!!! The photos of the rooms do not give them justice - they are absolutely beautiful and BIG. The entire home has been wonderfully updated... Pascal welcomes you to Bayeux in his home with open arms, helpful tips, and fluent English - all with a great big smile on his face. Breakfast was lovely - and the home is in a great location in Bayeux - walking distance to everything... Do yourself a favor and book here!!!!
Le Petit Matin is centrally located and hosted by gracious and well-informed innkeepers. The rooms are large and comfortable, breakfasts delicious and the ambience parfait. We highly recommend this inn when traveling to the Normandy area.
This is by far the best place we have stayed in Bayeux - the house is on a beautiful square and has been renovated to a very high standard. Our room (gris souris) was very large and comfortable, extremely clean and very quiet.
Pascal was very welcoming and gave us good advice on restaurants etc.
Breakfast was really good - with lovely croissants and bread and different "extras" each day.
My only hesitation in recommending it so highly - it might be fully booked next time we want to go!
This was our first experience with a Bed & Breakfast place and it was a very positive one. We had a very large room in a very quiet house. Location was excellent near the Bayeux Cathedral with easy access to parking. Our host was very cordial and provided us good practical info for our visits. Centrally located to visit the Normandy debarkment beaches. Great WIFI connectivity.
