“Cozy Restaurant”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

This restaurant was recommended by our host when our 1st choice La Rapiere was fully booked. Nice cozy restaurant; lovely service, but the menu was rather limited. My husband enjoyed the black pudding appetizer.

“Most suggested restaurant to try in Bayeaux”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

We had a wonderful time at L'Angle Saint Laurent. The food was delicious and well presented and though we were the last two couples to leave that night, we were not rushed out the door. Very warm and inviting and we will return if we are in Bayeaux again.

“Good meal”

Food was very good, mullet for my wife, chicken cooked in cider for me. Service excellent, but atmosphere a little too formal.

“Great restaurant in Bayeux, France”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

We were in Bayeux for three days and discovered great restaurants in the small town. All our meals in this charming place were terrific. The first one is L/angle Saint Laurent, 2 Rue des Bouchers. www.langlesaintlaurent.com Upscale atmosphere, great menu, exellent service. Example of cuisine: Starter: assorted seafood was one choice that we ordered - excellent and very fresh. Main: Beef Lower Normandy, choice of 2 desserts: cappuccino cup with ice cream, or pancakes with Grand Marnier. We did not have a reservation and did not have to wait.

See website for more info re: menu's. Very innovative menu preperations, wonderful atmosphere, with a comfortable feeling without being stuffy. Highly recommend.

“The best restaurant in Bayeux!”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

We spent four days and nights in Bayeux and I must say that the best meal of our stay in Bayeux was at L'Angle St. Laurent. Actually, it was the best meal of our two week stay in France. The food was well prepared and absolutely delicious. What was especially nice is the fact that it wasn't over salted (as at many other restaurants) and the dishes weren't smothered in heavy cream. The flavor of the very fresh ingredients came through beautifully. Their tarte normande is the best of the region and must not be missed!
