The Bayeux tapestry brings to life the important historical battle that changed the course of the British royalty and the beginning of years of conflict between England and France. Incredible it has survived so long to tell the tale.

The Tapestry is simple a must-see. At 1000 years old, it is a rare treasure. The audio guide is perfectly done to tell the story of what you are viewing.

Great place for a true history lesson, built on a Tapestry made almost one thousand years ago. If your kids don't like it, it's time to throw away their phones, because this was the tablet of past as shown by the history lesson it displays. In addition it has a well done museum portion of all the people and countries involved........amazing.

We visited around lunch time in March and practically had the tapestry to ourselves as we strolled along with our audio guides. The video and exhibits were pretty good as well. I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much if there was a huge crowd.
