Excellent display of the events of June 6, 1944 and afterwards, with lots of artifacts and graphic displays. Not to be missed.

A must see Museum; also make sure you sign up for a Tour of the Omaha Beach. The Tour operators have so much knowledge to share with you and they take you out to the Omaha Beach to describe D-Day. The American cemetery is a must see also...take time to read everything that this museum has to offer to their visitors.

The museum showed us the human condition of the soldiers who were engaged in the D Day invasion. What the communications were like; what the uniforms, arms, and clothing was like; what the scope of the invasion looked like on maps, etc. In short, it gave depth to our feelings about D Day and the events that occurred during the liberation of France.

Worth visiting this museum. Very informational, lots of displays and pictures. Film shown a few times during the day, as well. Would definitely visit again if I am ever in the area again.
