If you are looking for a cheap hotel this is it. Its not roomy but it is clean. If you are just looking for somewhere to sleep. You can really beat it for price. The breakfast, is a bit rubbish. I would walk into town.

The room was clean, but the room smelt when the toilet was used. The rubbish was not collected, nil toilet paper or soap. The sheets were not changed and we stayed three days, even though they made the bed. The room was quiet.

Place was clean and comfortable. Room made up each day. 20 min maximum walk from station and short walk into the centre. Don't bother using the booking machine if you have prepaid your stay. You must come in the specified hours or have made special arrangements by phone beforehand. Otherwise, you will have to wait for the office to open. Vending machines in foyer are handy. Get breakfast in town. Overall, I would stay here again. We had no car and still found it was good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Economical and quite satisfactory for about a three night stay.

My family and I (my wife and 2 young children) used this hotel as a 1 night stopover while travelling further south for our summer hols. We booked it via booked.com as it was a good price and just needed a bed for the night.

The room was small but we all fitted in fine. There was bunk beds for the boys and a double bed for my wife and I. The room was clean and tidy and was in a quiet area. There a railway line close by but to be honest you couldn't hear the trains when the windows were closed. My kids liked watching the trains anyway!!

The bathroom was tiny and the shower was a squeeze (and I'm not that big). However it served our purposes.

We were offered breakfast as an extra when we arrived which seemed quite cheap (I think it was about 5 euros for an adult). The reason it was so cheap is because it was pretty rubbish and basic. There was toast, tea and coffee and that was about it. There was cereal but no bowls (we did ask) so we ended up using a coffee mug. I wouldn't bother with breakfast. There is a large supermarket up the road which sells pretty much everything which will provide a better breakfast.

The car park was great and free at the front of the hotel and the hotel was easy to find.

Overall this hotel was great for an overnight stay probably 2 nights would be enough. It was clean and tidy and cheap. It was great as stopover while travelling from the eurotunnel further south and I will look at this hotel again for next year.

Just you're average budget hotel - walking distance from the city centre but it's a good 10 minutes along the highway. The breakfast is cheap but make sure you like what's on the advertisement because that's all you get. Also reception is closed in the middle of the day and there's an automatic check-in machine outside, luckily there were other guests there to tell me that. Wifi isn't amazing. It's a cheap place but i'd look around before booking - i'd preferred to have paid an extra 10 euros for a closer place.

Premiere Classe is a great hotel for exploring the town of Bayeux. Located within a 15 mins walk of the town centre and just 500M from the Museum of the Battle of Normandy (and its adjoining war cemetary), you couldn't get a better location and price for your visit.

Our room (triple) was spotlessly clean with a large king size bed and a bunk bed on top. A flat screen TV was also in the room and the ensuite bathroom (the portacabin type) was clean and very adequate for our one night stay There were plenty of electrical sockets to recharge phones and iPads (which are very often lacking in budget hotels) and we even had AC in the room, which for a price of €55 for the three of us was great value.

The only negative with the hotel was the breakfast buffet the following morning - there never seemed to be enough crockery (cups, glasses) with the constant stream of people. There seemed to be just one person looking after the buffet and she seemed to be completely overwhelmed trying to keep everything moving smoothly.

In fairness she probably didn't help the cause as she spent time restocking items that didn't need replenishing, and neglected restocking cups, glasses, bread anmd milk as the queue for the buffet grew and grew quite needlessly. A little more common sense and organisation applied to the buffet would promote this hotel from very good to excellent.

We stayed here in order to visit the D-Day beaches and war memorials and it was well located and a good economical place to stay. It was certainly very basic but was reasonably priced. Our room was clean and sufficient. The breakfast was inexpensive and decent (toast, cereal, yogurt, juice etc.)
