We took the “U.S. Beaches “ full day tour this past June 6th with Francois, who was an outstanding guide –friendly, very knowledgeable, and flexible. When we couldn’t park near Omaha Beach, Francois took us to another spot (after we all agreed) with a stunning overview of the Beach – we were also all by ourselves!

Another accommodation was holding the start of the tour for us in the morning for about 20 minutes because we got a bit lost in Bayeux driving from Honfleur. It was also quite nice that the number of people in the tour group was limited – there were only 8 in our group. The place we stopped for lunch was also great.

We would definitely recommend your tour group to others, and would even love to take the same or another of your tours in the future.

We loved touring, learning about and experiencing each DDay spot we were taken to: German cemetery, Mont saint Eglise, Utah Beach, pont du hoc, Omaha beach and American Cemetery. The guide was fairly knowledgable as well as pleasant enough, and the bus was comfortable - family of 4 adults and 3 children. However, as one reviewer said, if you do have some knowledge of the history leading up to DDay as well as the battle itself you could easily do a self guided tour and save your money - particularly if you aren't touring with children. The airborne division museum at Mont Sainte Eglise is very informative and interesting - and the movie shared exactly the same info as the guide. Our children loved Pont Du Hoc with the opportunity to discover and explore German bunkers, as well as run up and down the gigantic bomb craters. We marveled at Omaha beach as we envisioned the devastation that took place there. Definitely worth the visit to both the German and American cemeteries to experience the stark difference between the two. Highly recommend watching 'Band of Brothers' miniseries as well as reading a non fiction DDay book before you go.

A truly memorable experience. Eliz was prompt, knowledgeable, and informative. We did a half day tour of Omaha beach, Pointe D'Hoc and the American Cemetery. She had lots of information and old photos for us, which really brought Dday and the months after it to life. Our kids really enjoyed the tour, especially our 13 year old. What we enjoyed most was going to some "secret" places where there were no other tourists, and also hearing about our guide's family's experiences during the War. I think that without a guided tour it would be almost impossible to imagine what had happened on this beautiful coast.

What a great tour! So much more than we could have learned on our own! We stopped at all the main attractions and then several smaller monuments in between. Our guide, David, carried wartime photos of each place so that we could see the differences from then and now and had a story for every photo. So many fun facts that I would have never known! So worth it! Oh, and the lunch spot was just perfect! Fresh seafood, great atmosphere, great day! Thanks, David!

We only did the half-day tour so we expected to get a Reader's Digest version of the beaches, but our guide picked us up at the train station about 20 minutes late and it was another 10 minutes before we got going, so our tour already was even a 1/2 hour shorter than we expected. Our guide was knowledgeable enough, but there was a lot of quiet time driving between sites when additional information would have been appreciated. We felt rushed at the sites because our guide wanted to get us back in time, though he was not concerned with picking us up in time.
