My wife and I stayed with Wil at La Tour Louise for two nights in mid March. We found Wil to be an extremely charming and efficient host who seemed anxious to provide a personal touch for all of his guests.
His accomodation is very clean and well maintained in addition to its very central location in Bayeux.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend La Tour Louise to anyone looking for a pleasant B&B experience.

Proximité du centre ville - cadre cosy et très propre, accueil familial et personnalisé. A recommander !

Close to town center, very clean, welcoming and Will was helpful with information about restaurants open on a Sunday evening. Highly recommend.

Based upon Trip Advisor reviews , my wife and arranged to stay 5 nights at La Tour Louise before going to Ile de France for 2 weeks.
I had communications with our host Wil prior to our trip and received some very helpful suggestions about some things we had planned to do.
My wife and I drove to Bayeux and met our host. The house is everything you'd expect it to be from the descriptions. It's over 200 years old and Wil grew up in it. The promised views of the Notre Dame Cathedral from our rooms' window were even better than expected and the lighted effect at night was mesmerizing.
There is a parking lot next door that just requires 4 hour shifting but we followed Wil's suggestion and parked in front of the B&B with one side of the car up on the curb (like many other people in town) and it was perfect for 5 days.
The centralized location of La Tour Louise(getting it's name from a very old part of the town's fortifications) cannot be emphasized enough. The cathedral dates back to William the Conqueror in the 1070's and made for interesting exploration as does the amazing presentation of the Bayeux Tapestry. And both of these are about a 4 minute walk. We took a shuttle to Mont St. Michel and a tour of the D-Day invasions sites and the pick-up point was 6 minutes away. Wil suggested a boulangerie about 4 blocks away that we frequented for fresh bread and great pastries. His suggestions for dining out(also at places within a few blocks) were flawless as was his choice of an apple grower that has a store 3 blocks from La Tour Louise that we could purchase Calvados , pommeau and cider that we are still enjoying.
He also laid out a drive for us to the coast and up to Honfleur that helped us further appreciate the beauty and friendliness of Normandy.
As a host , Wil is flawless. We had a beautifully presented breakfast each morning and as we were the only guests at the time, we really enjoyed it when Wil sat down and we talked about a variety of topics . We met his parents and felt as if we belonged to a family.
We had a double room with a small refrigerator with a modern bathroom and it was very comfortable and nicely decorated.
The home was clean ad charming as you would hope for but the experience that my wife and I
had of being a part of French culture for even a brief period of time is priceless.
Well done Wil and continued success to you.

La Tour Louise is a first-class guesthouse, a wonderful find in Bayeux. Took a couple of loops around town to find it, thanks to inaccurate internet maps, but once there we could not have been more pleased. We arrived before check-in time, hoping to drop off luggage. The room was ready, so we were escorted to the third floor by proprietor Wil. The room we had was to the left at the top of the stairs and was absolutely lovely. Large, with an extra little room off the main one that we used for luggage. Red velvet and brocade bedspread, plenty of lighting, both from lamps and windows, and a very clean, large bathroom that at looked out onto the cathedral. Wil is a gracious and helpful host, with ready suggestions for dining and sightseeing in Bayeux and the surrounding area. "Free" parking nearby does require a permit for certain daytime hours, which Wil explains and provides. He serves breakfast when guests request, with croissants, yogurt, cheese, coffee and other offerings. All in all, staying at La Tour Louise was a very pleasant experience. Would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend highly to other travelers.

Tour Louise is an amazing B&B in the heart of Bayeux. Wil, the host, is truly gracious and kind. He helped place dinner reservations, coordinated a change with a D-Day Tour operator, and provided a beautiful breakfast. We stayed two nights on the third floor in a very spacious room with an amazing view of the Cathedral. The en-suite is beautifully appointed with modern fixtures while still retaining the charm of a 200 year old building, Wi-fi is available and fast enough too. We will be returning to this amazing establishment. I cannot say enough good things

Room Tip: Wil helped bring our bags to the third floor. So don't hesitate to boom a higher level room.

A lovely, family-owned guest house in old town Bayeux. Very nice rooms. Excellent breakfast. Extremely helpful host. Our room had a fantastic view of the Cathedral. The guest house is very near the Cathedral, Tapestry and excellent restaurants.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the Cathedral.

My wife and I stayed at La Tour Louise for two nights. Our room was quite spacious, with a great view of the Cathedral. Modern TV and WiFi throughout. Our host, Wil, was extremely helpful in planning our agenda...his recommendation that we visit Mont St Michel after our stay in Bayeux was especially appreciated. The breakfasts were excellent and Wil makes up scrambled eggs and bacon on request. Highly recommend La Tour Louise if you're looking for a great value and warm hospitality!
