Stopped by on a Monday evening and had a very enjoyable and filling two course meal (a third course was out of the question given the large portions!). The Braised beef cooked with beer and gingerbread was very plentiful, tender and somewhat unusual taste.I picked it because it was a Northern french speciality. My wife had the Pork fillet with goat cheese and tapenade topping (it's a paste made of olives) which was similary tasty and plentiful. To drink, the red grimbergen beer is a refreshing change from UK lagers if you like to try something local and different. Service was friendly and efficient and some chilled sounds over the sound system and the cosy interior made for a very pleasant experience. Perhaps if the beef had been less filling there might have been room for the delicious sounding white chocolate mousse or chocolate souffle. Price was reasonable too at about 65 euros for the two of us.
