It's easy to get from Lille Eurostar Station to Gare Lille Flandres - a couple of hundred yards or so across what is effectively a wide new plaza, with smooth paving. No steps. Easy to find too - a lot easier than finding your way from King's Cross to St Pancras.
Inside you can get your tickets either from the machines or from the people behind the ticket-windows in the ticket hall, who're obviously used to dealing with English-speaking travellers.
If you've got a bit of time to spare, there are several brasseries just across the street in front of the station where you can get excellent beer (with moules if it's the right time of day). Or you can go over to the Grand' Place and see the Déesse on her column. It was raining, so I got a taxi, but it's in easy walking distance.
