Easily reachable from the highway (directly on the exit for Gare Europe), although almost adjacent to the historic centre (a few minutes on foot).
It is in front of the railway station Europe, with the back on the highway.
If you need something, there is the large Euralille shopping centre (including Carrefour) on the way from the hotel to the centre.

After passing the hotel (one way road) and the following traffic lights, you cross the road and immediately find on the left an entrance for the (very large) underground Vinci Parking.
It is the same parking of the station but it is partially under the Hotel itself (although on the back the upper levels are above ground, facing the highway) and there is direct access via lift from the BLU level in the zone near the entrance.

Although a large parking adjacent to a railway station, it appeared sufficiently safe.

Apart from the available lift to the lobby, it has nothing to do with the Hotel and you have to pay at the cash machines in the parking (I paid 20.90€ for the night).

Although half the rooms are on the highway, fortunately the double glass implements a good enough sound insulation.
There are not windows that can be opened, just the glass on the wall.
You can hear noise from the highway but it is sufficiently attenuated not to be annoying, and I am a really light sleeper.

One thing I don't like is the separate WC mini-room, but I suppose some people appreciate it.
The bathroom had the shower inside the tub.

The room was fine, although some details appeared a little dated and the carpet was stained.
All usual amenities were available.

One important point of excellence was the bed, really comfortable.

There was a 32" LCD LG TV.

One thing I don't like much is the safe on the floor of the wardrobe: it is not very handy when you have to knee in order to look in the safe.

Internet by Swisscom was 10€ for 1h in a 24h period (you can disconnect and reconnect at pleasure).

I had room service dinner: menu sufficiently varied, very quick service, sufficient presentation, average food, the tray left in the corridor was not collected until morning.

Breakfast in the restaurant was sufficiently assorted but quality and presentation have space for improvement.

On the whole, I would classify this hotel as a 4*, there are some point of excellence and some weaknesses, however it is for sure a good place to stop in Lille.

This hotel has everything and was worth the high room rate that we paid. The room was modern and spacious. The facilities were of a high standard. The location is perfect for the trains and car rental and is quieter than in the centre of the city. Highly recommended.

Right opposite the eurostar terminal, and only 5 minutes walk to the main square with euralille shopping centre and hypermarket on the way, so great location. Nice room and bathroom. Good place to stay for a weekend minibreak.

Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The hotel is located directly across the street from the train station which is very convenient.

Very friendly staff and very nice/clean room. We spent 1 night in Lille as a stopover before continuing on to Brugges from London. To be honest, we really didn't feel like there was too much to do/see here. To be fair, they do have some museums but we really didn't feel up to that since we knew we had musuems to visit later in our trip. Skip the big flea market on Sundays, definitely not meant for tourists. We got in around 4 or 5pm and left the following day by about noon and didn't feel like we really missed anything.

Stayed here over Easter for the first time over Easter. Booked an executive room on the top floor and had a really pleasant 3 night stay. The views were fantastic and the room was very spacious and clean with more than enough storage space for luggage etc. Bathroom fantastic with great shower. The staff were professional and courteous rather than friendly and welcoming, but very effficient. Room service was surprisingly brisk for a French hotel. Though the lobby and other public areas were bright and modern, they do look a little outdated, but this is neverthless on the more high end scale of Lille hotels. This is refelected in the prices and the dinner I took in the hotel was very well cooked and presented, but definately on the steep side- more than double what you would pay in Lille. I thought it was strange that the hotel was full but the dining area empty. Now I know why. In any case it much better to eat out in the town. Did not have breakfast, preferring to eat in Lille, though a decent basic breakfast can be had cheaply in the Eurostar station. It was really good to leave the terminal and be in your room in minutes. Though it was not a problem for me, some people might find that the distance of the hotel from, say, the old part of town a bit of a trail- particularly if you are late night dining. If you are a solo traveller or a couple it can be very quiet at night on the journey from the Grand Place to the hotel. I have always found Lille to be a very 'safe' town, though some of my colleagues have said they have felt intimidated and isolated. One tip: if you are travelling back and forth to the hotel on foot in the evening stick to the Av Le Corbusier. Some of the other routes via the square by the Euralille etc. can be a bit dodgy and its better safe than sorry. Overall, though, a pleasant stay and definately preferable to similar price hotels, though the location/price will not be ideal for some.

It's difficult to rate a hotel fairly when you check in at midnight, go straight to bed, get up at 6am to catch the Eurostar and grab a 5 minute breakfast.

We really couldn't find anything to really complain about during our 6 hour stay. The bed was comfortable, the room was a good size and the location literally across the road from the Eurostar was perfect for us.

I have no idea how far from the centre it is, whether there was free internet or what the services were like but I'd recommend it on it's location alone.
