Quai 38 is located in a not-so-charming just-off-city-centre steet, but once inside, there's only accolades that come to mind. The decor is very pleasing, the waiter/waitresses are very friendly, charming and courteous. Regulars are greeted with a kiss and the atmosphere is cozy.
The food is simply fantastic. We skipped the first course and were blown away by the main course: 1) tuna in a sesame crust and 2) seabass in a scrumptuos cream sauce, both accompanied by a very tasty spiced rice and fresh vegetables. Not complicated, but extremely fine cuisine, well presented. Desserts: out of this world. Poached pear in red wine sauce and a soufflé with Grand Marnier. A big thank you, especially to Laure, for making us feel so welcome!
