Small and compact, hidden away off the busy popular main street, wonderful. Made to feel welcome by excellent host. Sat at window table looking out at church of St.Catherine. A very refreshing salad starter led onto an excellent main course of veal, veg, and dauphanosie potatoes. A recommended bottle of rouge washed it all down, lovely. Service was very good, attentive and courteous. Popular small restaurant so I would advise ringing. Has tables and chairs outside as well as in. Tel 03-20-14-00-34.

went with family of 4 kids aged 8-14. Relaxed atmosphere. Went french though patron happy to speak english. Simple choices but plenty of variety to whet appetite. Tasty food, well served at very competitive prices. Nice extras thrown in. Overall a great meal and thoroughly recommended. It is small though and you should book if you want to avoid being disappointed.

This small and friendly restaurant away from the main square at Lille proved to be an excellent choice for lunch on our day trip to Lille. We researched various restaurants on TA and are glad we picked this one. Le patron was friendly and efficient and the food was very good. The other customers were a group of young French people and this added to the ambience. Would particularly recommend the baked camembert with fresh herbs served with local jambon - delicious. The ravioli with cep sauce was also very enjoyable, fresh, and plenty of it.

Not on the main boulevard but just "a few steps" from the square of Charles de Gaulle. A small family restaurant with a great atmosphere, excellent food and wine. Friendly staff, interior of the restaurant and daily menu written on the "shool notebook" make feel you very comfortable. This is definitely not a canteen as many other restaurant right behind the corner are:-) Very recommended!
