This is a basic place for an overnight stay for Dunkirk ferry port. It's literally 5 minutes drive to the port.
The essentials are fine. It's clean enough, the bed is comfortable enough and I have to say, breakfast is very good with a wide choice.
The hotel is, however, in need of brightening up a bit. The sign on entering is scruffy, with paint peeling and at night several letters don't light up. The room we had was basic with a double bed and 2 singles crammed into a relatively small space. There was a stale smell on entering the room. The toilet is cramped and we couldn't shower without the floor becoming flooded. We presume there is a leak of some kind. You have to sit at an angle on the toilet as it's a very small space.
It was disappointing at reception, that the receptionist said we needed to pay for breakfast that was already paid for. I'm sure this was an honest mistake, but it shouldn't happen.
As a basic roof over your head on the way home it's acceptable, but if you want something more comfortable, I would suggest spending a bit more.More
