We only had 1 night here thankfully. Located right by the beach. Had to call a number posted on a paper on the door as no one there. Staff friendly and helpful. Room very dated, ting toilet and shower (but powerful and lots of hot water). Toilets are very noisy and you will hear everybody else's. THin walls, banging doors and dark corridors.

OK for 1 night, clean lined and towel. Hopefully they are trying to improve.

Booked a while ago and asked for a balcony - got a rear view overlooking the carpark and garages!

Free parking to rear of hotel.

After visiting this hotel one day before we should have these lovely persons could not have been more obliging and fitted us in.Room was small but clean, bathroom so,so could do with a refit. The owners are new and have started refitting one step at a time.
The Hotel is right on the sea front so lots of walks along the beach.

We paid 94€ for a small room with double bed and breakfast and that is definitely too much.
The room was small with a not really comfortable 1,40 m bed. The pillowcase didn‘t smell clean and and the breakfast was below standard. Usually you always get fresh baguette and croissants in France but in this case the baguette was just chewy even the jam tasted odd.
As a plus, the yogurt and the Granini juice were good and the owner was a nice guy.

We had to check in very late due to our Eutotunnel booking. The manager was very accommodating and it was no problem at all. It was newly renovated, but it’s still a pretty old building. So even though the bed was decent, the walls are quite thin. You will be woken by people checking in/out, having conversations and flushing the toilets. In the end, it was a very adequate place for 1 night, where we can rest up before our drive to Berlin.

I understand you pay for what you get and this is not a 5* Le Meridien... however basic are missing ....

We arrive at 12:30pm and are told room won’t be ready until at least 2pm so come back after then, so we venture off to the museum and come back for 3pm (check in on booking.com stipulation is (2pm-9pm), and there was no one at reception and we couldn’t get into the hotel, we go away and come back at 4pm, still no one, we ask another person on vacation and they said maybe 5pm, and we head for a tour of the port, having seen the beach already as next to hotel. At 5:30pm we called and asked when we could check in, and the lady on the phone first didn’t recall us from earlier in the day, and then she proceeded to tell me she wouldn’t be at the hotel for
another 1.5hours (7:30pm at night by this time) of which I refused as I explained I had my nine year old with me who needs to freshen up for diner after playing on the beach. Lady then offer us a password code to gain access to hotel and we discovered that our room was unlocked with the key inside all that time and the hotel people could have notified us sooner?!

And the room, well it is just about ok, it has enough beds to sleep us all, the shower was amenable, and it did have a hair dryer. However no flush for the toilet is completely unacceptable and the toilet didn’t work, so we had to take the waste bin from the room and pour water from the shower into it, and then down the toilet to flush our urine away, as we didn’t want to wake up to the smell. It was so bad my daughter said she didn’t feel comfortable to poop in the hotel room as didn’t want her mummy having to water slosh it away.

The room is advertised with WiFi.... good luck if it works?! It’s a 20+ digit password or random combinations of letters/numbers and when you enter the entire thing several times still no joy in logging on.

The floor is dirty you use the towel to mop excess water when showering and you will unfortunately stain their white towel with mucky colour.

No tea or coffee making facilities and limited storage - I am just thankful this was a single nights stay and not any longer.

On the plus side;
Free off street parking
2 minutes from the beach
5 minutes from museum
15 minutes from ports
Good choice of restaurants near by
