not requiring a hearty breakfast we found this opulent place on the corner of Place du Capitoule and enjoyed the start to the sightseeing morning. the interior is ornate and has been well restored in La Belle Epoque style. Worth just coming for coffee + small croissant + orange juice at €7.50 if no time for lunch or dinner. but definitely a brasserie / restaurant that must be seen and enjoyed in Toulouse. If only had more time to visit again during the day or evening. This place has enjoyed famous history starting life as the best place to visit 150 years ago when arriving off the carriages into Toulouse centre. Was serving draft beer at that time for the thirsty travellers. Only recently has the building been restored by Monsieur Christian Constant and wish him and his staff every success.
