I had a dinner in winter, so inside the restaurant, this place is quite small so you need booking before, anyway the restaurant is very typical with the famous red bricks from the external view.
I had as starter a velvet souce of mushroom, then pasta with fish and as main dish tuna fish with a very tasty white wine.
Everithing was good and also the service is ok.
The only thing is the price... Quite expensive.

Two of our party of 4 had the lunch menu at 20 euros for 3 courses and 2 had the menu at 30 euros. The 20 euro menu started with carpaccio de cabillaud (cod) which was excellent quality. Mains were daurade which was cooked well with a crispy skin, served with caramelised endive and baby fennel. Desserts were a raspberry mouse on a biscuit crumb base, crisp, not too sweet. My husband took the 30 E menu and was bowled over by his starter of ravioli of langoustine in a seafood sauce. The pasta was light, and the langoustine very tasty and well textured - sauce very tasty. However, his main course of cod was disappointing - bland and texture was chewy. His dessert was an unusual mixture of caramelised butternut squash in small light pastry cases served with mango coulis. Delightful. Good strong coffee.

We found this local high praised restaurant in our search for the local specialties of Toulouse : Duck & Cassoulet. The evening started with the house apero which was quite nice but a bit expensive. The starters we ordered were nice but the only one which I probably would member was the ravioli with foie gras! This was really excellent! Then the Cassoulet arrived as our main together with the duck breast(magret du canard). If you are with more people I would encourage you to share plates as it can get quite boring to eat a whole bowl of beans(cassoulet that is).. Overall it tasted good(not exceptional though) and with the drinks but without desert the bill came down to almost 80euro’s per person which is perhaps a bit expensive for this restaurant. To compare, with just a little bit more you can eat at a Michelin star restaurant and this restaurant is frankly speaking surely not at that level! I don't remember whether they had a menu, but that could be perhaps much better deak! If you want to play safe, you can surely eat well in this restaurant!

We had dinner Chez Emile. It's situated on one of Toulouse's lovely small plazas and we enjoyed it's lively outdoor dynamic. The food was delicious and we had a great time.
