Hotel de Brienne in Toulouse, France is reasonably priced for a 4 star accommodation. But the price is not even its greatest asset. The rooms are neither so tiny that you must crawl onto the bed if your partner wishes to cross the room. And they are not so large that the heating system fails in its purpose. Like Goldilocks' assessment of Baby Bear's food, the rooms are "just right". In addition accoutrements are tasteful (what else would you expect from the French?). No weird pictures on the walls created by artists of questionable taste & talent; no advanced degree in engineering needed to operate the shower or flush the toilet; no warnings in 4 languages re: what not to do with used toilet paper or illustrations forbidding standing on the toilet seat. The breakfast is also "just right". If you are one who adheres to the adage that this is the most important meal of the day, then you are rewarded with the choice of a full breakfast. If, on the other hand, you are a coffee, juice, & toast (think large, flaky croissants) person, then you too are rewarded with that choice. (Breakfast is not included in the room price.) With the fact that the English speaking staff is friendly & helpful, there is much to love at the Hotel de Brienne.

I had a pleasent stay at this hotel situated close to the beautiful Brienne Canal. They have a lovely garden and 3 types of breakfast depends at how longer you want to spend for the breakfast.

The rooms are very pretty and nice decorated.

The staff is extremly polite and ready to provide all the information.

Well deserved by the public transport (metro, buses and shuttle for the airport).

I recommand this hotel for your stay in Toulouse leisure or business.

Stayed here whilst visiting family. Close enough to town but much quieter than other hotels in the centre. Lovely quirky decor, spotlessly clean and nice little touches. Enjoyed having tea/coffee facilities- it's an English thing! Also great to have a fridge in the room.
Nice patio area to sit and have a drink in the evening.
Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable hotel in a good location for exploring Toulouse. Nice and modern, nice staff, small bar and cute patio space. Loved the bathroom and all the kooky art touches. didnt eat anything, but food I saw looked ok!

We had to rebook our stay near Toulouse, as the first place we chose had no restaurants open on Sunday evening!! This place was fine, easy walking distance from the centre and good value with parking and WiFi.
