“Tres chic!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2012

This is a centrally located business hotel. It's just a few minutes walk to the city center, or to the Metro. My room was not big, but very stylish and very clean.
The breakfast buffet was quite good. (But is it really worth € 12,00?!)
The personnel - reception, bar, and breakfast service - was very friendly and helpful.
My room was on the street side, but noise was no factor during the night.

Strange title, but I read this Hotel has been rated 19th on 320 Hotels in Toulouse.
Well, sincerely I don't know the others, but this is Spot-on!
The Reception is small, but cozy, with some interesting pieces of modern art. A small bar. Downstairs the breakfast room. Rooms: small but clean. Huge king size bed. Tv plasma screen. I really liked the bathroom, with a great clean shower.
Few hundred meters from the city center, and 15 min taxi from the airport.
Good Stay!

Room Tip: Mine : #102. good night sleep although facing the main street in front of the hotel (traffic). Most...

I have staid at at least half a dozen different hotels at Toulouse by now and always enjoy returning to the Hotel de Brienne. The recent facelift was a good choice. The rooms have a good size with tasteful interiour and a comfortable bed, the bathroom is pleasant and everything is spotlessly clean. Staff speaks more than decent English and is very polite. The hotel's location is convenient for drivers but still allows strollling to the city centre. Also, parking is included in the price. I had no breakfast so I cannot comment on this. I'm quite sure I'll be back.

We stayed at the Hotel de Brienne for three nights. It was very cozy and quiet and the manager and her assistants were extremely helpful. I needed help finding the Monoprix and with train schedules and they were very accommodating. I was really impressed with the service and felt well taken care of. The rooms were clean and a good size by French standards. I was able to walk to the center of town in about 10 to 15 minutes but usually took the long way along the canal and river for the beautiful view.

Nice hotel, recently renovated, very close to canal and river. Very good if you like to walk to city center - capitole. I like to walk, of course. Very good price/quality relationship. The room was very good, clean, new and silent. The not so good aspect was the breakfast quality of products, nothing special. After seeing the room I expected more, but I bet they save on something. Fair enough.

The hotel is situated in the business quarter of town, a bit of a walk from the historic centre, but far superior to the other hotels that I’ve tried at similar prices in the very centre. At 105 Euros (or 85 Euros at weekends) the rooms are very good value. Those at the back (“courtyard side”) are quietest. Recently refurbished (check that your room will be), they have great showers, good beds with duvets, and sleek but warm, modern design. Free wifi too and (a big subsidy to the cost of 24 hours in Toulouse) free parking. Only problem was the fact that (like so many hotels) the air-conditioning was switched off for winter and it was very difficult to cool the room down, even with the window open. Despite setting the thermostat to a low temperature, the system continued to pump out hot air. I took the 5 Euro “express breakfast” (juice, coffee and pastries) in preference to the higher price and rather lack-lustre buffet.

The hotel staff were very helpful with our group booking of over 20 people, the booking process was smooth and they were very accommodating to any changes. The rooms were beautiful and newly renovated and the location was brilliant.

Would definitely stay again!
