“Don't ever take the Panoramic view”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

We took the Panoramic tour since it also had something on the new/upcoming A350. All we finally got to see was the outside of the A350 hanger, a few A320s and some ATRs. The tour lacked imagination for a "live" event. Learnt a bit of history in the process, and also got an idea of how much an A320 would cost. The place is well connected by Tram, but beware there would be no clear directions. So, if you're ready to explore a 1.5 km radius from the tram station to this middle of nowhere place, take your chance. There is also no place to eat, no cameras allowed, and by far the most unimaginative tour that one can think of.

“Awesome tour, not too hard to get to.”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

We signed up for the Let's Visit Airbus A380 Factory Tour, which was an hour and a half of discovering how the Airbus is made, certified, customized and sold, through an interactive tour. The guide was very knowledgable and spoke great English (they have one or two English tours every day). They also have two other tours, an environmental stability tour and a bus-ride around the complex tour, but from what we heard and saw, the A380 Tour was the best by far. Make sure you book the tour online at least 2 days before if you are from outside the EU, or at least 24 hours before if you are an EU Resident. The site is outside of Toulouse, but you can take the Tram line to get there and follow the small signs pointing to the complex, about a 15 minute walk in an industrial area, but quite safe during the day. Would reccomend.

“Hard to get there”
Reviewed March 7, 2013

It was a bit hard to get there. Followed the instructions I had here, but the signs are not big enough and not placed at the right placed. Easy to miss and if you miss you are pretty much screwed up. The factory is so big and if you are walking, you will waste a lot of time. I wonder why Airbus does not offer some shuttles to/from the station...

In terms of experience, you can see only from far away. But it gives a good overview.

I did the 380 tour and it took 90min

“Great Tour if you like to see a Manufacturing plant”
Reviewed December 15, 2012

We had a tour of the A380 with a group of people from the group. This was great to see:
- How the Aircraft is being manufacture
- How large it is from the ground
- How complex it is from a supply chain standpoint
I would recommend for people interested in Manufacturing

“Expected a bit more”
Reviewed November 13, 2012 via mobile

I enjoyed the tour although they could have done more with what they have on site. I found it crazy that we could not even take photos of the completed aircraft outside on the tarmac. The mock ups are old and out of date especially if one has flown in an A380. The guide spoke good English and seemed quite informed. I went on a Saturday and I would commend a weekday when there is more activity!
