“Has the potential to be great”
Reviewed February 15, 2014

We visited La Creperie on Valentines Day. The downstairs room is gorgeous and atmosphere was wonderful. The tables are large and chairs comfortable. There were flowers on every table which was a lovely touch.
Unfortunately I was disappointed with the slight disorganisation of the place. Firstly there was no drinks menu?? No wine list. The waitress had to tell us every thing they had available because the menu "wasn't finished yet". This was not helpful to me especially as I don't speak French. But aside from that I would really like a menu to look at and decide what to drink! Secondly, on Valentines Day - a day on which every restaurant is booked out - there was ONE waitress working. We waited so long to get our drinks, longer to be served our main and by the time we had desert I could not even be bothered to wait for her to return with the bill.
Finally, even though my partner clearly ordered our main, we ended up with something completely different. However, because we had to wait for so long for it to arrive, we could not be bothered telling them it was completely wrong and waiting for them to do it all again.
However, the food was delicious and decently priced. There is a great choice and both sweet and savory crepes were very good. Had it not been for the lack of drinks menu, bad staffing and mistaken order, it would have been lovely. It has the potential to be a great place. They just need to get their act together.

“Extraordinarily Delicious Crepes”
Reviewed December 5, 2012

When we asked our friends in Toulouse the best place for crepes this was their recommendation. The place was beyond great. The portions are large and the crepes are filled to the brim with high quality ingredients. The crepes themselves are soft and moist on the inside while being crispy and delightfully salty on the outside. The buckwheat batter they use goes well with both sweet crepes and savory ones.

This place was in an rustic, cobble stone street neighborhood. The narrow, medieval streets add to the charm of eating outdoors here. Also, the waitstaff was rather attentive for a restaurant in France. The food was well priced as well and it was very good. Go here and sit outside.

“Excellent!”
Reviewed August 25, 2012 via mobile

The menu was very nice and with a large selection of gallettes and sweet crepe.
We had a salty one and a sweet one, both were excellent.
Good service as well.

“My favorite Creperie in Toulouse, France”
Reviewed December 21, 2010

La Creperie in the heart of Toulouse, France is outstanding. Very close to the Capitole, a 5 minute walk from shopping, and hotels. The service and food is amazing based on using traditional and regional ingredients. I highly recommend eating downstairs in the red brick Toulousian dining room. It is cozy, intimate and great for groups of people. Attentive and exceptional service from the staff.
