Basically, our host at Hotel Confort told us, there are 3 restaurants in Tarrascon and this is probably the best bet. It's lots nicer inside than it seems from the street. Tables are lined along a wall of windows hanging over the river which rushes by throughout the meal, and the sun sets over a dramatic mountain landscape. The food - I had trout and frites - was o.k. The pizza that we saw at adjoining tables didn't seem to thrill.
