“Le Manoir D'Arnes -would reccommend!”
Reviewed May 6, 2012

ONLY down side to this hotel was the lack of a door on the toilet! This was not unexpected (read previous reviews) but there is no doubt a door would be MUCH better and could be done so why not? Staff really friendly, restaurant was excellent for 3 nights but would be a samey and boring for much longer. Room clean, It was quite while we there, It is not a large town! Only saw 2 trains in 3 days and didnt hear them at all.
I would stay again. Lots of nice old towns and mountain areas to visit. Not impressed with local historical park, maybe you need to take young children!

Very modern and clean hotel with nice furnishings. Larger than we expected and is a little impersonal and soulless. We were expecting the hotel to be in a village in the Pyrenees but instead found it to be a large town on a busy main road - very noisy with lorries. No tea/coffee making facilities and breakfast not included. An extra 15 euros each on top of 105 euros per night is slightly excessive. On a positive note, it is a short drive from charming villages and stunning mountain views and walks.

We stayed for a night in early August while visiting the Caves of Naiux. The exterior pictures make this appear to be an old chateaux, however the entire interior has been redone in modern decor and amenities. In addition to the hotel being very clean, the management could not have been more accomodating. Having had too many big restaurant meals over the prior week, we opted for a night off and had a picnic on the deck. The manager was most gracious and even brought us an ice bucket for our wine. Nice!

Use this hotel on a cycling trip across the Pyrenees. Easy to find, just off the main road to Andora (but a little noisy due to lorries). Very good food, nice clean rooms and wifi. Very helpful people running the hotel and good bike storage.
