Jennifer and James run a fabulous establishment. They provide clean and comfortable accommodation as well as a good breakfast and delicious, locally sourced, dinner.

Great for couples and ideal for families. We loved our stay and were sorry to leave.

Originally we were just looking for a bed close to the caves and other sites. We found this gem through Tripadvisor and based upon the reviews thought we'd give it a whirl for a couple of nights. Well the caves and associated pre history were entrancing, but the the welcome, atmosphere and delicious Confit du Canard followed by the unctious choclate mousse made the evening as memorable as the day's experiences. James and Jennifer certainly go the extra distance to ensure your stay is exceptional. They are both great conversationalist and on our second evening James prepared us some bread and pizzas from the original wod fired bread oven. Hmm you might say, a pizza in France, prepared by an Englishman, he must have a streak of Italian in him some where as he did an excellent job, producing what I thought was a perfect loaf of bread, an opinion that the perfectionist James didn't completely agree with. Maybe by the time you visit he will be happy with his wood fired bread, I am sure you will be.
James and Jennifer have developed some excellent suppliers from the local community, the goats cheese, either cold or warmed through and drizzled with honey is wonderful and the local wine truely a great accompaniment to the food. They are both very knowledgable about the local area and provided us with some great additional recommendations. We booked a double self catering apartment at the rear of the property and were very happy with our room. With about 9hectares to wander around you can easily find the space to walk off the food before the next evening. Great people, great food and the other guests we met were also very friendly and engaging, we certainly plan to return and repeat this experience in the future.

They have it right. The country style provided by Jennifer and James is fabulous. Their personal touch through suggested day trips, food preparations and accommodations is right on the mark. Our four days/three nights at their B and B was the highlight of south/central France. I can't take credit for finding this wonderful place, that goes to my wife who was so impressed with comments like this one. p.s. Suggest that you rent a car with GPS to find this wonderful place.

Room Tip: Ask for their "old pig" barn near the authentic Roman Road at its doorstep.

My fiance and I stayed here for two nights as part of a tour of the area in March 2012. We stayed in the Garden suit which was a self catering little out building - I believe James said its where they would have kept the pigs in the old days! It certainly didn't look like they did any more as the suit was beautifully renovated.

James was very welcoming and friendly and pointed out all the local places for us to visit. Having been on the road for a while we decided to have a couple of cosy nights in at the suit. So we popped 5 minutes down the road to a large supermarket to stock up on local cheese, meats and wine, then stayed in the suit eating an reading in the evenings! Very very relaxing.

Would definitely recommend.

Room Tip: The Garden Suit is perfect if you want some self catering peace and quiet.

A huge thank you to Jen and James for their amazing hospitality - it really made a great experience into a fantastic one. The children loved it - (2 year old and 8 month old), with a lovely outdoor space, beautiful rooms and so close to so many amazing places of interest for all the family. We didn't want for anything. We really miss it now we're back and will definitely be visiting again.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent. Some have kitchenette.

My husband and I booked this hotel based on recommendations. Easy to find, free parking and on site (a rarity in Rocamadour!!) A very warm welcome by the lovely owners. Free wifi in the well decorated spacious double room. Very clean, private en suite bathroom. We ate on the Excellent ValueTable d'Hotes evening meal first evening and sampled James's excellent cooking, homemade (local grown) vegetable soup, succulent Confit de Canard and roasted local vegetables, homemade apple crumble and artisanal ice cream, all complimented by the most perfect Cahors wine (we chose the 2002 Reserve, but there was a very good choice available). I gather in summer there is a choice of Rocamadour Cheese or Dessert. This was such good value considering in a restaurant you pay the same amount just for the main course of the local delicacy Confit de Canard, so we were more than happy with the price and the overall value at La Noyeraie.
The Continental breakfast was plentiful with freshly baked croissants and bread, homemade cake, compotes, juice, coffee and tea, and fresh fruit. My husband sampled the English cooked breakfast on the 2nd morning and was so pleased, it was perfect.
Overall we are looking forward to returning to La Noyeraie in the future and as they have family suites available as well, I will be bringing the children on the next visit. There is so much to do locally that we barely scratched the surface, and where better to make our base.
Thank you to James and Jennifer and their lovely boys, we look forward to seeing you all again.

Room Tip: We rang them after looking through the photographs and got a good deal, they also tailored our requ...
