The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the church and that makes the location of this hotel really ideal. This particular hotel has a very business hotel kind of feel - clean, compact and quick.
What we found horrible was the breakfast which had absolutely no options or service. I would recommend Hotel Saint-Sauveur which has great food options and belongs to the same group!

One of few hotels that are opened during winter in Lourdes. Only few steps away from the Cathedral that offers free wifi on the entire hotel. Room is clean and spacious. Frontline staff are very accommodating and helpful. Don't expect much though on breakfast as it offers only few food choices. We definitely recommend this hotel.
Great hotel, typical French rooms, great bed. Shower of course super narrow, but that is France! Don't drop the soap! This hotel is in the right spot, just a few steps away from the entrance to the Saint Joseph entrance to the Lourdes Sanctuary. Surrounded by all the shops, restaurants and bars. Their "petite déjeuner" is not as petite. They offered a great Continental breakfast, lovely French baguettes, fluffy croissants, and regular sliced breads, as well as yogurts, granola, fresh fruit salad and the option to do your own egg!
The hotel was clean and very near to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Grotto, just less than 10 mins walk. I was given a room at the back not facing the road so it's perfect for me and not be disturbed by people passing by to the Grotto. The staffs were helpful especially Aline, she's very accommodating. Check out is at 11 am but I requested if I can be extended for an hour so I can take my lunch before leaving to Paris and request granted. I availed of the breakfast for 9 Euro but there's not much variety.
Overall, the place is perfect for pilgrims who want to stay very close to the Sanctuary.

It has good location...close the sanctuary which makes it easier to visit. It's only minutes away to the centre. For me the drawbacks of the hotel are : the rooms are not soundproof. One can hear voices in the corridor or next door. The rooms have limited amenities and small. The breakfast lacks varieties although it was good. The hotel is good for small breaks not longer stay.

Recently me and my family have stayed at the Hotel Continental in Lourdes. It is situated in a very good location, minutes away from the Basilica and the Grotte. Very centrally located and surrounded by shops. Staff is very helpful and service (breakfast) is excellent. Rooms are spacious and very clean. I highly suggest this hotel on planning your stay in Lourdes.
