I stay at the hotel in July, we were part of a pilgrimage to Lourdes for 5 nights, we were on full board. The food was not great, we were served soup twice a day every day, and in that heat!! the salad consisted of shredded carrot and lettuce, and most of the meat was tough. I can safely say that the whole group felt this as it was obvious by the amount of food that was left on the plate. I couldn't stick it anymore that I had dinner out on two occasions. The Staff were friendly enough. The rooms were basic, but I guess this is fine as you are out all day. If you stay here try and request a room to the front of the hotel as the back rooms are very dark and not much light gets in. I asked for some extra pillows and they were brought up straight away, but they had seen better days.
The hotel is very close to the grounds of the grotto and beside all the shops, bars ,restaurants. There is free Wi-Fi in the hotel which was great. The hotel is fine to stay in but I wouldn't go full board, there are plenty of lovely restaurants further up in the town.More
