“Great historic stone bridge on the edge of town.”
Reviewed August 25, 2012

This is an ancient bridge with a long history connecting the town to the far bank and beyond. If you cross the bridge walk up the other side to the east and you can find the spring that runs out of the cliff base and supplies the drinking water to the town.

“Iconic.”
Reviewed August 2, 2012

This is the bridge you see on the postcards and posters for Cahors. Quite beautiful.

You can walk around, watch boats go through the locks (self-service locks), and at night there is a light show.

If you're in Chairs, don't miss it.

“Wonderful medieval bridge over the Lot River”
Reviewed July 18, 2012

This was a bridge on the pilgrim route to Santiago del Compostela. It is amazingly well - preserved and well worth a visit.
