I loved this hotel .Yes it has flaws but overall it was excellent .
Very helpful staff and nothing was too much trouble.
Charming service in reception and at breakfast .This continued in the very good restaurant.Good to be served at the table for petit dejeuner but 4 mornings of the same was too much .
The room was very comfortable.Good linen and towels .Quality bed with a well equipped bathroom .I loved the traditional bath when I had got the hang of it.
Nice bar and a little terrace .Free parking at the hotel .
Would like to return.

We stayed here twice for a night each at the beginning and end of our holiday to the Lot Valley. We came on the train so it is just across from the station which is most convenient,

We have been many times before and the staff are most friendly and helpful. We had the suite for the first night but only a top room was available for the last but it was still absolutely fine for us.

Room tip: Suite largest but superior rooms are good as well

This hotel reminds me of the Royal Tenenbaum house. It's art deco, it's French, it's lovely. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was on the front of the hotel, large and clean with lots of space and plenty of windows to let light in. It's in a good location very near the train station, but not too close - you couldn't hear any noise from the trains.

My wife and I spent a night here during our recent holiday in August 2018. The hotel recalls a long gone elegant past and is a delight. Even more of a delight are the staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Cahors has plenty of places to eat, but to be honest if you are there for one night only then stay in and eat.

If you arrive by train it is only a very short walk away and is also close to the city center and the bridge.

Breakfast is a mountain of bread which might not be to everyone's taste but don't lert that put you off.

This is a remnant of another era that works wonderfully even today. The hotel is small and quiet, with a location convenient to the train station and downtown. The hotel staff are wonderful and accommodating. The restaurant is understated classy and classic. We loved it all.
