“Very nice experience”
Reviewed November 20, 2011

We stumbled on this restaurant while we were looking for Le papillon which is on the same street. We were hu fry so we decided to try it. Overall it was very good except fir slow service. My daughter and her roommate are both fluent in a french but because of my English I think they were ignoring us. Other than the service it was wonderful. I had the fish strew wich was an ample portion with a delicious mixture of flavors. My daughter had broilled fish of some kind which was delicious. Her friend had the cassoulet which was good but uneatable due to it's temperature. The house wine which we had - from Gaillac- was delicious and Was very reasonably priced by the pitcher. We had desert and it was very good but due to the many great meals I've had in Albi so far I can't remember what it was! I would definitely return. 60 euor for three with ample food

“Artistry for the Palette and the Eye”
Reviewed November 5, 2011

This restaurant was recommended by our guide book and we are very glad we followed the recommendation. The staff was polite and attentive. The food was imaginatively prepared and tasted wonderful. The atmosphere is unique- very artistic and clever and made for a wonderful ambiance. Though not inexpensive, the experience was worth it. After three and a half weeks of dining in southern France I can truly say that this was one of the four best restaurants in which we thought the food, service, and atmosphere measured up in every way. If you visit Albi, I can recommend eating at this restaurant without hesitation.

“Disappointing”
Reviewed April 4, 2010

Sunday lunch with menu options at €25-€35 euros + A ravioli stuffed with foie gras and topped with asparagus tips sounded delicious but was bland. Roast saddle of lamb was very fatty. Small helpings and very little by way of vegetable accompaniment. Too expensive for a poor meal. Pleasant staff and charming ambience but, regrettably, it's a thumbs down
