I love this place! I feel at home because of the bilingual owners and the food is great. The chef even caters for me now I have gone vegetarian which is rare in this part of France. I take all my friends and family there, French and English.

Away from the bustling shopping crowds in a quiet backstreet is a nice family run restaurant.
Ideal for a relaxing lunch, excellent food, service and value and a few steps away from the Pompidou Centre. Would definitely return.

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of some (local) friends, it is located down a side street and unless you knew it was there would be difficult to find but worth it. Upon arrival we were made to feel very welcome by the host (the wife), she runs the front of house while the husband is the chef. The atmosphere was pleasant and not too noisey. The menu offers a good selection of local cuisine at reasonable prices. All of our meals were nicely prepared and I was very impressed by the service considering (she was managing alone) and the restaurant was full! I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family and I am sure next time we are back in Metz we will visit again.

This restaurant is tucked away down a quiet, not very appealing back street, but is definitely worth hunting down. It is run by a husband and wife - he is French and cooks, she is English (and bilingual) and runs front-of-house. We had an excellent meal and fabulous service. The menu is pretty extensive with a choice of set menus and a la carte offerings. The €27 menu was particularly good value. There is a good wine list at varying prices and Jan was able to help us choose a wine which we enjoyed immensely. An excellent experience.
