In the town on a cold and wet Tuesday night. Majority of restaurants closed but fortunately not this one. Made superbly welcome by the owner and we opted for the set menu, very reasonably priced at €23 each. The complimentary starter was a delicious tuna and anchovies (see photo) , my actual starter was home made pate and my wife had a the autumn/local salad. For my main I had the veal and my the trout. Finished by nugget ice cream. Perfect wine selection - enough selection and not “war and peace!”. I had a recommended Beaujolais. All in all a lovely experience and a welcome change from the Swiss Indian meal event the previous night!
