Food was good, nothing outstanding.
Same can be said for the service - polite, efficient but not over friendly.
Location was good, close to many other restaurants.

This is our second visit here.We chose this restaurant from a street full of eating places simply because the staff saw us looking at the menu and greeted our dogs before us. The staff were friendly and helpful and were keen to ensure our dogs were as comfortable as us. The food was excellent and sevice was very good.
What else can I say, if you are wandering down this street and cannot choose a restaurant to go into you can be assured of a good meal here.

Rue des marechaux is full of restaurants (there is only one building that is not a restaurant), and the menu at la table de bacchus struck us as the most interesting.

We were the first in that evening and it was a while before they got any other customers, but by the time we left it was filling up nicely.

Service was efficient rother than friendly, and the food arrived promptly.

To start the tower of tomatoes was tomatoes done five ways and was interesting and in the main successful. To follow we had a chaud/froid of asparagus with several fancy vegetable side dishes, which was interesting and partly successful.

Worth trying if you are in Nancy for a few days.
