Stayed in a 2nd floor single bed room on 28 November 2012 during a business visit to Saint Gobain factory the next day which was an hour drive from the hotel. It is most ideally and centrally located in Stanislas Place, a huge square and a heritage site. Nearby attractions include a cathderal, beautiful gardens & shopping arcade and an aquarium. The square became lively in the night during my stay due to making of bonfires in the cold wintry night by a reveller group. The ambience at the Stanislas Palace makes it a special place to stay which is very vibrant even in the winters.
The hotel staff were quite helpful. Breakfast was served in the first floor dining room. The food was healthy but with limited choice of items. The room was quite spacious though with a worn out / faded decor. However, the room had all the basic amenities such as electric kettle with tea and coffee saches. The toilet was also clean with adequate toiletries.
Enjoyed my one night stay and would have ideally liked to spend at least one more night in this beautiful hotel to explore the heritage locality in depth.More
