I’m sure many people like us have been attracted to this property because of the style which is evident from the photographs. Well it is even better when you visit this rental. I think this is because of the high level of finish and fittings which reflects the style of the owner who is a charming and most helpful lady who left us alone unless we needed any help.
The kitchen is fully equipped with enough work top space for a studio for 2. We stayed in the white room which has a double patio door opening onto a balcony. The sun rises on this and stays until around noon, after that you can get sun by the pool until early evening.
We have just finished a weeks stay and would definitely recommend it to you, if you decide to go here is the best advice I can give you ...how to find it!
Although it is only 250 yards from the road it is difficult to find where the last 250 yards start as neither the chemin or the villa has any signage.
The property is located just off the D407 which links the D981 to the D982 to the west of Uzes.
Opposite house number 605 on the D407 there is a turning with a slight uphill gradient. Be careful the road surface is very uneven. At the top to your right there is a grey metal gate, ignore this and follow the track round sharp left and the property is the next on your right after approximately 100 yards.
Incidentally you can continue on foot on this track and walk into Uzes which is approximately 3kms, it took us approximately 35 minutes.

What a wonderful find this was! Emmanuelle has created an idyllic hideaway very close to a beautiful and interesting town.Villa Olea is situated off a country lane only a 5minute drive to town but so quiet and peaceful. The interior actually feels larger than the photos suggest and the decor is modern ,tasteful and elegant. The bathroom was lovely with large shower and lots of storage space. We enjoyed breakfasts and wine on the balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. The pool area is immaculately maintained and surrounded by lavender and oleander.
There are many pretty villages within a 30 minute drive and thePont du Gard is definitely worth a day's picnic trip.
We loved Uzes...atmosphere,Place aux Herbes.architecture, markets and great places to eat.
Emmanuelle was the perfect host...very friendly ,extremely helpful but unobtrusive. This was one of the best places we have stayed in France.
