Having looked for a nice City apartment in Perpignan to use as a base for our holiday in the south of France, me and my girlfriend stumbled across this charming little apartment. From the first instance of enquiring nikki and Derek responded immediately and answered all of our enquiries, we are both quite foodie and just wanted to makes sure there was a well equipped kitchen etc.
on arrival in Perpignan Derek kindly collected us from Perpignan gare, and took us to rive gauche where we met nikki, both of whom were very welcoming and hospitable and came across as genuinely really nice people. Having looked around the apartment we found it was actually not so little as the pictures show it and actually very spacious and generous. The apartment was very nice and clean and bright, linen was left all fresh and clean and Derek even filled some ice up for us in the freezer seeing as though outside it was 40 c. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of crockery a coffee machine and one of the things that personally I thought was very good is that they had left the little things like oil, salt, pepper, coffee and tea, washing and cleaning buts etc, because it's a big help, nobody wants to go out straight away and buy all the little items that add up. The apartment has a lovely bay window and is lovely and bright and cool when opened up through the day, the bathroom is spacious with some great big wardrobes with a curtain in front, this even kept my messy girlfriend tidy! During the stay the fridge brokedown, so I phoned Derek who was straight down and by afternoon he had replaced it with another, top hospitality! I would recommend this apartment to anyone and thought it was very reasonably priced! It has a lovely position overlooking the canal, right in the town centre. This is a great place to stay to discover the area, we had 10 days and still didn't fit enough in! So all in all really great stay and apartment and would definitely return, thank you for the stay !
