Stayed for three nights. Hotel in a good location opposite the main park in Perpignan with underground car park close by - if you don't mind a walk there is free on street parking within 5 mins.

Room was clean, comfortable and air conditioned. Had a corner room overlooking the park and road, but very little road noise. No noise from other rooms and very comfortable bed. Did not try breakfast as within minutes of main shopping area. Not perfect but would definitely recommend.

Room Tip: Corner room was nice and plenty of room

We have just stayed this week in the Best western Hotel in Perpignan and have to say it exceeded our expectations. Lovely 'comfort' room- a good size and very modern with great air con as it was 36 degrees outside in the daytime and around 33 at night. The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff are all very friendly, we found Gayle (not sure how to spell it in French) very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Can't fault the hotel so would recommend it and would stay there again. I tyhough I would mention that you can get a bus from Perpignan airport directly to the hotel, it is the number 7 and it ONLY costs €1.10! We didn't know this when we arrived and paid €30 for a taxi but got the bus on the return journey to the airport when we were leaving so I thought I would share it with you. Also, for anyone visiting Perpignan there are buses to most towns in the region for only €1 no matter about the distance, it's a government sponsored thing so make sure you use the bus if you plan to visit, Argeles, St. Cyprian or Courliere. Thursday night is the big night in Perpignan with all the entertainment focussed on that night. There is a great fountain light and sound show about 200m from the hotel that is only on on the Thursday night and is well worth seeing. Last but not least, plenty of nice places to eat, our favourite was Le Grand Café de la Paix à Perpignan, check it out on tripadvisor, it was the best place we visited for food by far for all the local foods and even for my favourite - steak and chips!

Room Tip: All rooms would be quiet as the hotel is in a quiet part of the town.

The booked "superior double" turned out to have a huge bed, composed of two singles,in a room of inadequate size.Apart from two bedside shelves, the entire storage space consisted of a very small wardrobe with folding steel door and captive hangars. The small glass writing table was cluttered with BW publicity, and the teamaking equipment was located on a shelf above, ready to drip on your papers or laptop(for which the Wi-Fi has annoying coded access).
The room had an unwelcoming feel in hot weather, with the placement of the airconditioner making one side cold and draughty. The "wood" floor might be thought more suitable for a Mediterranean city than carpet, but it is merely cheap laminate, badly stuck down so that it crackles when walked on.
The bathroom facilities are poor.On our first night there was no hot water, and we were told that the problem could not be rectified and to run the tap for ten minutes. On the second night, when the hotel was busier, there was more hot water! I could find no shaver socket, and there was no shelf or place to keep anything dry. The separate WC ( wasted space) had no toilet brush, and none was provided on request.
Breakfast was average ,apart from completely raw looking sausages in the "hot" tray on both days.
It is a pity to have so many annoyances in a hotel with such a convenient central location.

Room Tip: My room was 507.Others ,as seen on the fire evacuation plan, looked larger.

Very clean accommodation, room on the small side but has good storage. Breakfast is better than the usual croissant and café, and they have a small bar/lounge. Staff very helpful. Easy to walk to main shopping area and train station is about 10 minutes away.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise, we were in town for a wedding. The receptionist was always willing to help us find our way to the festivities. They were also helpful in directing us towards things to do! This hotel is centrally located and a good value! We loved the fluffy robes, clean and comfy beds and a very nice continental breakfast to start our day.

We have just returned from the Windsor today, and had to put in a review. We stayed 3 nights as a getaway city break and were a little unsure if we had booked the right hotel for us after reading other comments on tripadvisor. We should not have worried. The hotel was spotless and our room on the top floor facing the Park was fine.Very comfy huge bed and very clean. The staff were excellent and freindly, and the hotel very handy for all the city. Most of the city busses stop right outside the hotel and if you are coming in from the airport, the No.7 bus from the airport stops outside the hotel(1.10 Euros)in the Boulivard Thomas Wilson, and runs every half hour during the day.We saw the city in a day,and then travelled on bus to Canet Sur(Very ordinary) and on the last day by Train( 25 minutes) to Collioure for the day.Amazing, a must see.A beatiful Medieval fortified town on the coast almost as good as Portafino in Italy.Super day out and nice beaches with plenty of restaurants. If I had one complaint about the hotel Windsor,it would be that the chambermaid each day failed to top up Coffee/Milk and loo rolls ect.Overall, very good.

Room Tip: Front room overlooking the park. You get a tiny balcony but can go out for fresh air. These face west...

We moved here after one night at the Hotel de France. Although the room was fairly small it was freshly decorated and nicely furnished. Location was excellent and good view from balcony. Very clean and comfortable. Kettle included but disappointed in paper cups. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Surprised to find that there was no proper catering, food apparently all frozen and microwaved to order, although this was not a problem as there are plenty of restaurants nearby and an excellent food stall opposite the hotel that was open late at night.
Only slight criticism I would make is that there is no shelf or drawer space for clothes, in fact a lack of shelf space in general and the bedside lights were useless for reading by. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
