Decided to stay visit Perpignan and stay at this hotel on our way down to Barcelona. Very easy and convenient parking beneath the hotel and special discount for hotel guests, around 8 euro per night. The rooms are fantastic. Very big, modern and the shower felt like a tropical rainstorm. I had read some negative reviews about breakfast, but we found it lovely, with a selection to cater for all needs. This hotel surpassed my expectations and would definitely return!

The parking is a bit steep priced (next door to the hotel) - but exept for that, this was a very good deal. The room is wonderful - like a mini-apartment. The bed is big and nice, and so is the shower! There is a small sitting area which is also nice - the TV can be turned around to face either the sofa or the bed. A small kitchenet gives you opions. The aircondition worked very well.
There's a small fitness room on the ground floor, which is well equipped. The location is very good - just 5 minutes walk from the old town. I could have stayed here for a week - no problem!

The rooms are nice, if a little dark with tiny windows. The strange lighting in the rooms doesn't help - but they are spacious, the A/C works well, internet is fast, the beds are firm and comfortable, with nice linens and comforters, everything is very clean, and the bathrooms are very nice. The layout also makes you feel like you have a large room. The desk staff was very helpful in reassigning our room from the lower floor to a higher floor, was friendly, and we were very pleased with most aspects of the hotel. The only part of the hotel which is very disappointing is the parking, which is in a covered parking underground next door, which has no access to the hotel. You have to push your luggage up the parking ramp (no elevators!) - and then around another building, to get to the hotel. This was just strange. Even though the hotel stated that they had a reduced rate with this garage, the garage would not accept the hotel card, and no amount of going back and forth solved this issue - apparently if you attempt to leave the garage after noon, you are charged the full price. So we paid the hotel, AND we paid the full garage fee as well. Of course you only find out you can't get out of the garage after you are at the exit point, and imagine the hassle of having to repark, go out, walk around the block to the hotel, discuss, get another card, return to garage, only to find the problem persists. You basically give up and pay the full fee. To make things worse, you can't drive your car or a taxi to the door of the hotel. You have to stop at the street down the length of the hotel, which has only 3 handicap spots to pull cars in. there are big cement blocks preventing any access to the front of this hotel. Thus even taxis can't pick you up because they can't stop at the hotel itself, or even the street outside, if one of those slots is not free (which they never are). Even the hotel staff person told us how much trouble all the French guests at the hotel have with this parking and access issue. Just be prepared for all these issues if you arrive by car.

We had the pleasure of spending one night at this hotel while travelling trough Perpignan on our way to Barcelona.

The hotel has no parking, but an agreement with a parking house close. Although no great prices, I'm not sure if there are any better alternatives nearby if you arrive by car. The hotel itself is situated in the same builing as the Etap hotel, so I'm sure Accor has found some good way of utilizing those two brands together.

The rooms are moder, great and spacious, with large bathroom and a small living room area. A lot a small touches that brings up the level of satisfaction, and you can also easily see that it's designed for longer stays.

It's situated quite centrally in Perpignan with both bars and restaurants close by. A short walk and you are by the city gates.

A pool area would be great with the heat that we had when staying there, and especially since it's no beaches close by, but considering that we knew this when booking I can't really withdraw anything because of that.

Breakfast was ok, although a bit alternative. Most food were packed in small boxed that could consist of everything from meat to cereals or yoghurts. You also had the possibility to cook your own eggs. Breakfast area was in the lobby, but also gave the possibility of sitting outside (which we didn't as some chimney smokers had arrived before us)

All in all we loved the concept and the hotel, and would gladly return for another stay.
