After climbing all the way to the top of the hill behind the Park to see Tour Magne, we found the ruins of the Temple of Diana in the southwest corner of the park. Since you are in the area, it pays to stroll through the ruins, but they are not worth a special trip. The park is attractive but the fountains and statuary look old and tired--like many of the buildings in NImes. Be advised this is a long walk from the train station and the Roman amphiteater.

The remains of this building are tucked away on one side of the Jardin de la Fontaine. Inside there are some interesting carved designs that show how impressive this building must once have been.
Apparently, there is nothing to associate this with Diana, or being a temple: but hey, if you are in the gardens it is worth popping into!! Camera!

We had this temple all to ourselves as it was unlocked. We walked in, took pictures, and were amazed at the carvings in the stone, etc. Part of it is sort of ruined by electrical cabling to modernize it.

You can find this little ruin in the Fountain Garden. Nothing really notable about it, other than it wasn't actually a temple.

While the exact origin of this water temple isn't known, it's a real gem of a ruin. There are still beautiful bits of carving under the ceiling pieces and the structure is small and intricate. The only sad note, idiots who deface such historical monuments with garbage. For shame!
