We ate here on our honeymoon in France and the food and service were both excellent. My husband said his starter (asparagus) was the best food he ate on the whole trip! V baby friendly also (though no high chairs) and gave us free food for our little boy! Highly recommended.

Visited by chance recently and had an excellent meal with attentive friendly service. Not the cheapest of options but then you tend to get what you pay for. Tried to go back on a Sunday evening but sadly they were closed. Recommended.

I would travel all the way back from Paris to Nimes just to go to this restaurant again. The decor is very chic and classy - feels a bit like a restaurant from the 1920s while also being very modern. The staff were brilliant: service is a little slow, but as long as you're not too pressed that's ok, and makes actually for a lovely relaxed evening (and if we ever wanted anything it was not hard to attract their attention). Food was incredible: I had a type of sardine spring-roll for want of a better way to describe it, which was delicious, and then a Japanese-style tuna steak with sesame seeds and pureed potatoes that is perhaps the best fish I have had in years. I had the house special olive-oil and vanilla tart for dessert which was utterly bizarre, but a great "experience". We also had a wonderful wine from a local town, that was so good my boyfriend took a photo of the label so that we could try to find it in a local wine store. They also gave us free limoncello shot at the end of the meal. It's pricier than other choices, but it's worth every penny as everything was faultless from start to finish. I wish they were in Paris!

Amazing. We were lucky enough to get a table before it got busy, it was full when we left.

Had steak which was delicious and came with a wonderful sauce (no idea what kind though)

Great cocktails and friendly service.

A good holiday "food find"
