This is a simple budget boutique hotel. The room was charming. Comfortable double bed (even for single use) and a pretty bathroom with a tub. But the tub was only useful if you were gonna soak in it. It was hard to actually bathe as you had to hold the shower with one hand. It was uncomfortable. No shower curtain so the floor got all wet. The cupboard in the room was really old so I didn't want to use that. TV was nice and big and had English channels. Overall the room wasn't horrible but improvements to the bathroom and cupboard should be made. Free wifi was provided, the service was friendly, and the location is excellent - just 15 seconds walk from the entrance of the Arena and walking distance to all other attractions in Nimes. Do note that there is no lift so you may have to drag your luggage up the stairs. My biggest complain about it is that it's email doesn't work. They did send me one email once when I made an inquiry through the website (actually the wrong website - the sister hotel in Arles). But all replies and emails to that email address were non-delivered. I had to call to book my room and this caused some confusion. I ended up with a non-air conditioned room. Luckily their air conditioned one was available so I paid an additional 20EUR from the quoted 65EUR to "upgrade" the room. My advice would be to make sure you know what room you're booking and the amenities the room has when you're booking it.
