From the moment we arrived at the restaurant, the host made us feel very welcome. He helped me with my awkward French, and aided us through the choices for dinner. We found an excellent Chateauneuf du Pape at a very reasonable price. We had scallops (Coquilles St. Jacques) and tuna tartare, duck breast stuffed with foie gras, and tournedos Rossini (yes the Italian composer's addition to French cuisine) cooked to perfection. We were neither rushed nor delayed with dinner. All in all, it was a very lovely time.
