They have a great variety of wines, and the waiters can recommends depending on the food and your own preferences. Food is nice, beef meet is excellent and the dessert named Lacolyte, super!!! To repeat!
Just one negative in Summer...no air conditioned.

SUCH a lovely spot. The wine was local and great! The food was interesting and very well made. The service was also a super highlight with efficient and friendly waters that were passionate about the food.

When in Montpellier, don’t miss out!

Welcoming atmosphere in this popular restaurant/wine bar, frequented mainly by locals rather than tourists. Good quality wines at reasonable prices and excellent food. So good that we went here twice.
We particularly enjoyed the perfectly cooked fish - a mixed platter of salmon and scallops was excellent, as was scallops en brochette. Other highlights included a starter of hot and cold smoked herring, and a main course of magret de canard (+chips!). Desserts were delicious. Familiar sounding desserts such as tarte au citron were given an original twist - a kind of deconstructed lemon tart, and similarly an apple tart.
The menu initially looks a bit complex (lots of notes and comments) but staff were very friendly and helpful.

Local joint full of locals, always a good sign! They have French classics (frog's legs) as well as really intriguing items for appetizers and wonderful skewers for mains. Small portions, but well priced. Excellent wine, friendly service, perfect ambiance. Not the right place if you are in a rush.

Amazing food that fits the ambience of the restaurant. Highlights include steak tartare with fresh crisp flavours, scallops on French toast, octopus, steak, coffee desert tasting plate, deconstructed apple tart.

Staff went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable, with aircon in the middle of summer, ice, drinks, expert English translation, great wine recommendations, and guided us through the menu - all done with humour and style.

Wish this was our local restaurant.
