Chose this place due to tripadvisor, as it was my friends 30th and I wanted to go somewhere special.
Exposed brick walls, and minimalist interior combined to make for a nice calm and relaxed evening. It does take the best part of an evening, but every course is very lovely. There is one chef who you can see prepare the food, and one women (his wife?) on hand to serve.
She was very friendly and sweet. The food was of a high quality and inventive although the dishes were very much modern on trend (2 dishes with foam!). You couldn't fault them, the best were the desserts and the starters for ingenuity. Dishes perfectly presented. Only reason why didn't give it 5* as I was expecting that little bit more as the food and wine standard was already quite high in Montpellier. That and I think I've been spoilt in the restaurants I've eaten in.
Up there with very precise good restaurants with a comfortable atmosphere - just didn't deliver the absolute wow factor but enough of a wow to make an enjoyable evening.
