Chose this place due to tripadvisor, as it was my friends 30th and I wanted to go somewhere special.

Exposed brick walls, and minimalist interior combined to make for a nice calm and relaxed evening. It does take the best part of an evening, but every course is very lovely. There is one chef who you can see prepare the food, and one women (his wife?) on hand to serve.

She was very friendly and sweet. The food was of a high quality and inventive although the dishes were very much modern on trend (2 dishes with foam!). You couldn't fault them, the best were the desserts and the starters for ingenuity. Dishes perfectly presented. Only reason why didn't give it 5* as I was expecting that little bit more as the food and wine standard was already quite high in Montpellier. That and I think I've been spoilt in the restaurants I've eaten in.

Up there with very precise good restaurants with a comfortable atmosphere - just didn't deliver the absolute wow factor but enough of a wow to make an enjoyable evening.

Amazing food. Amazing wine collection to accompany the dishes. Amazing friendly service. Down to earth yet Superbly sophisticated in the taste it leaves in the mouth. The best meal i had in Montpellier, and i have checked out quote a few fine dining destinations with Michelin star chefs. Book ahead!

A visit to this restaurant with its very gifted chef is a must if you are in Montpellier. They have two choices of menu, 4 or 5 courses plus another 3 amuse bouches. With the 5 course you get two main courses. As this is nouvelle cuisine you won't be overfaced. The combinations of tastes and flavours are wonderful, and can be accompanied by some excellent wines- available by the glass. The restaurant is small probably about 20/22 seats so booking is advisable. The chef's wife creates an ambiance of calm and ensures that your whole evening is relaxed and enjoyable. We enjoyed our first visit so much we went back a few days later, and it was just as good. Fine dining at its very best.

Wow this was an exciting dining experience. The menu at 49euro is incredible, cannoli with crab, fish with ginger broth & eggplant puree, rabbit (which we never eat) with parsnip puree & wasabi mashed potato....lemon tart... everything was bursting with flavour & presented beautifully. Both the Chef & his wife were engaging & fun, taking the time to talk to everyone in the restaurant. The kitchen is open so watching the chef is interesting too. He is soooooo tidy!!!! Highly recommended.

This beautiful restaurant left us with great impressions! Our 4 course meal there left us quite satiated - interesting and local cuisine with a modern take. The decor was sleek with an old stone wall - an excellent combination. Wonderful option to do seafood or meat for the main course if you do the 4 course (and not 5) choice. A nice wine list with some wonderful local options. Highly recommend this husband and wife team!
