A very good value, city centre hotel. We drove to Montpellier and the city isn't that easy to navigate but once there, the hotel room was clean, tidy and had friendly staff. We stayed for 2 nights and found the hotel to be in an ideal location just a few minutes walk from the main area of Antigone with a shopping centre and restaurants. It is only a 10 minute walk to the old part of Montpellier which is a pleasure to walk around. Although the hotel doesn't have it's own restaurant, there is a restaurant/bar next door whith seats outside. Would definately re-vsit.

On the edge of the Antigone district - 10 mins from the centre (Place du Comedie) and 5 mins from the river. Rooms are basic and small - but beds are comfortable and bathrooms clean. On a busy road junction so noisy if windows are open. Not a huge selection for breakfast - but fresh fruit for the juicer and HUGE croissants and pain au chocolat.
If you want to be right in the centre - IBIS is a better location.

Ok - this hotel is not the Ritz but for the price you pay, fantastic value for money. The hotel was clean, the staff were very helpful and the hotel was in a good location being a 10 minute stroll from the Old Town and only 5 minutes stroll from the University. If you are looking for a low cost weekend away then definitely worth a look (if in the UK would also recoommend Ryanair as three nights away for my wife and I including hotel and flight only cost £150!!!).
