We had the misfortune of wanting to eat at this restaurant around 17.00 today Friday, there was 1 table occupied outside and 2 inside, we walked up to the waitress outside and asked if they still served food, she said yes they served all day and did we want to sit outside or inside, we said inside and she waived us in. We slowly walked to a table near the bar, sat down and waited, after a while looking around for a menu on the table, waited some more and then noticed that the waitress had just taken some menus from other dinner and taken them near the entrance, two persons were with their backs to me, so I got up and politely enquired if they had food menus ( the drinks ones were in the table) to which they said yes, and then silence, I then asked if they could give me some, to which they replied where was I seated, taking into account only 2 other tables were occupied and they had a direct view, I still politely and with a smile pointed out where we were seated,to which they replied rudely that because I had walked in and picked my own table they had not brought the menus!!!!! In effect telling me off. I then realised that our not getting menus was not an oversight, or simply laziness, but a very rude put down for having followed the outside waitress instructions and not having guessed that we had to defer to a higher authority before being allowed to sit. I went to get the children and walked out. This is a burger joint with a 14 euros menu, this is not la tour d'argent and the restaurant was nearly empty. Avoid at all cost, never seen anyone ruder in a long time, anywhere and certainly not been treated like this by someone in charge of customer service.

We ate here after a long day touring the Montpellier area. It was close to our hotel and the thought of a light supper was appealing. As it turned out, the service was slow, the food pretty mediocre - my pork spare ribs could have been anything; very processed in taste. The live music was good but very loud. Possibly we just selected the wrong restaurant for our tastes. However would definitely not go back even for a milkshake as even that wasn't very good.

This place looked alright, a reasonable attempt to look like a 1950's diner . Who knows what was in the strawberry milkshakes- it was not ice cream or strawberries.

The French fries and deep fried fish were pretty bad.

When it was time to order the waitress ran when we spoke in English. She then sent her friend to speak with us. Great laugh.

A fried fish sandwich, french fried potatoes and milkshakes each set us back 30 Euro. Not only was it terrible but, expensive as well. We left hungrier that when we arrived.

Well if you live in France it does. The food ain't great and endless re-runs of Happys Days on TV is cheesy. But kids love it as they have the ambiance off pat. Funnily enough tho' they don't finish their food here....so it all looks better than it is. However I'd pick it any day over the MacD round the corner.
