Superb Caravaggio exhibition. Also, fine permanent collection. Excellent layout and architectural design. Loved the glass wall. Enjoyed learning about Soulanges. Altogether very good.

“surprising collection”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2012

During our stay in the area the museum was hosting a special collection of works inspired by Caravaggio, unfortunately only one painting was by the artist himself the others were by followers.
However, I was astonished to find such a large and excellent collection of Dutch and Flemish works, I have never seen a larger body of work by Teniers. There is also a wonderful exhibition of locally manufactured pottery much of it in the majolica style. Well worth a visit,
